Background | As a newly formed organisaton, KnowledgeLondon wanted to build an online presence that would attract individals and organisations involved in knowledge transfer.
The site is grographically targetted at the London area and is a collaboration between the London development agency, Westfocus and Knowledge East.

Solution | We built this solution on top of our Content management system (CMS) "Cirrus Sitemanager" as a part of that delivery knowledgeLondon included the event booking module as well. Cirrus SiteManager includes
- Pages can be created by the user underneath any menu
- Web pages keep the same look and feel by using templates
- Administrators can only manage areas they are assigned to
- Look after all documents, pdf's, powerpoints on the site from one place
- News pages, Contacts, FAQ's, case studies
- Record registrations directly to the contacts database

Online event registration
|
Outcome | Using the Event management tool knowledgelondon is able to focus on running the event, rather than administering the attendees.
- Once an individual signs up, instructions are automatically sent out
- prior to the event, reminders are sent to reduce the number of no-shows
- the administrator is able to send out emails to mailing lists of attendees or non attendees of events
- surveys sent out after the events capture feedback.
The focus has very much been on maximising the web to ensure the website manager can focus on business areas of most importance and less on the administration of the site and events |
