Building a portal to draw together organisations who can benefit from business support.
Background
As part of their work the consulting team have to review performance of the individuals they are assisting.
An important part of the work is to measure how that persons peers see them and identify areas of improvement. By understanding how an individual is perceived by those around them a baseline of where they are from a development perspective can be set. measurable goals can then be developed which will be referenced against this baseline.
Prototype screen designs, used to confirm understanding and agree look and feel
Challenge
A solution that would enable large numbers of people to submit their feedback for an individual without then adding an administrative overhead.
Additionally, the detailed reports that come from this analysis could be somewhat streamlined.
Existing processes were taking many hours of chasing indviduals to complete feedback followed by a lengthy analysis exercise to develop the customised report. Automating these tasks to allow the consultants to focus on performance was key.
Solution
we designed a solution based upon our proven survey tools.
The mechanism automatically sends out surveys
Manages the individuals prompting them for timely response prior to the end of a "peer review" project.
Once all of the results are in, the system collates and generates graphics indicating strenghts and areas of improvement for each individual
Managng the surveys via a web-based content management tool
Outcome
By automating the gathering and chasing of response the consulting team are freed up to concentrate on the value added work of assisting the management team to improve performance.
Feedback results are more consistently received and the automated prompting has increased response rates to over 80%.
The report writing also frees the team to concentrate on the face-2-face coaching process, supported by consistent smart reports
